BOOKINGS NOW OPEN
$270 for a 9 week term, including all materials
For children aged 6 - 13
This term we will explore the amazingly imaginative characters of Dr Seuss. We'll learn about and explore his process, artworks and illustrations and experiment with developing and drawing surreal characters and animals. We'll then choose our favourite imagined character/animal and create a 3D sculpture 'head' constructed out of paper and cardboard and finished with paint.
Did you know Dr Seuss's father worked in a zoo and sometimes used to bring home parts of stuffed animals to his young son, which inspired some of his characters and artworks? And Seuss was his mother's maiden name and his real name is Theodor Geisel, born in 1904!
